Who We Are

KingsWord Ministries International was conceived in August 1990 when God spoke to Pastor Kayode Ijisesan the words “… raise me a supernatural army.” This great vision started to take shape in 1993 with the inauguration of a campus church, Victory Christian Fellowship now KingsWord Campus Church, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria.

On November 21, 1997, KingsWord Ministries International (KMI) was inaugurated. The Church arm of the ministry was later inaugurated on the 31st of December, 1997. The Church, KingsWord International Church (KIC) Ikeja, now the ministry headquarters in Nigeria has reproduced other churches in Mushin, New Oko Oba, Igando, Ogudu, Ikorodu, Alagbole and Abeokuta. The campus arm has also extended to eight other institutions of higher learning in the country.

Pastor Kayode presently resides in the United States where he pastors KingsWord Int’l Church, Chicago with his wife Pastor Mayowa. They are blessed with two children. God has and is still confirming His Word by making manifest His anointing to raise people and birth a strong consciousness of His purpose in every KingsWord gathering.
